As a producer of high quality and pure vegetable oils and fats we also use palm oil as an important and versatile raw material in the food and non-edible sectors. Palm oil is not genetically modified and has the highest yield per acre, but due to the increasing area under cultivation there is also more environmental pollution. For this reason the production of palm oil should be sustainable and not only profitable but also socially and ecologically compatible. Cremer Oleo and WALTER RAU AG are member of RSPO – a worldwide initiative of stakeholders in sustainable palm oil, for the responsible treatment of the environment and those people employed in the palm oil cultivation.
